Wi-Fight
Checks your home internet for you, automatically

Are you getting the internet you pay for?

Wi-Fight keeps testing your home internet on its own and compares it with the speed your provider promised. After two weeks it has enough to give you a verdict and proof you can send.

01The problem

One speed test at one moment proves nothing.

You pay for a speed, but a normal speed test gives you one number at one moment, and a provider can wave that away as a bad minute. The example home pays a month for Mbps and typically gets , which is percent of its plan.

02How it works

You set it up once, and Wi-Fight keeps watching from there.

It tests your connection on its own, and after two weeks it has enough to give you a first verdict and a report.

1A few minutes

Set it up once

You agree to the terms, sign in, and add your plan, either from a list or by letting Proof AI read a photo of your bill.

2Every day

Wi-Fight keeps testing on its own

It runs short tests a day at different times and marks each day as on plan or below the fair line. It is designed to keep watching after the first verdict.

3After two weeks

You get a verdict and a report

Wi-Fight tells you plainly whether you are getting what you pay for, and Proof AI drafts a letter you can send to your provider.

03PROOF AI

AI that shows its work.

Proof AI turns your test results into something you can act on, and it always puts the evidence next to the words.

PROOF AI · WEIGHS THE EVIDENCE

It works out whether the cause is your provider or your home Wi-Fi.

Each piece of evidence moves a score you can see, so you can check the conclusion yourself.

PROOF AI · READS YOUR BILL

It reads a photo of your bill.

It pulls out the plan, the price, and each fee, and it flags a fee that is not a tax.

Example, from a fictional bill

It sets aside one-off dips

A single slow test between normal ones is not a pattern, so it is set aside and shown to you.

It answers your questions

You ask in your own words, it answers from your own tests, and it can hand your case to a support agent.

It drafts the letter

The draft is written from your own results, and you can edit it or ask for another version.

The models behind it

Checking which AI models are connected right now.

How it is kept honest

  • The app's own code does the math, and the model only explains it.
  • Every number the model writes is checked against your real data.
  • Each answer names the model that wrote it.
  • One switch on the Privacy and data page turns it off.
04Cybersecurity

Security you can see for yourself.

  • Consent comes first. Nothing runs until you have read what is collected and agreed to it.
  • Your data is encrypted on your device. It is locked with AES-GCM 256 before it is saved.
  • There is no password. You sign in with a one-time code or a passkey, so there is nothing to steal or reuse.
  • Nothing is sent without your approval. The send button stays locked until you approve the report.
  • Every report carries a fingerprint. If a number is changed afterward, the SHA-256 fingerprint no longer matches.

05Why it matters

Affordable internet only counts if you get what you pay for.

The cables are being built, and in a city like Huntsville most homes can already get a connection. The open question is whether the speed that reaches the home matches the bill.

Target 9.c

Universal and affordable access to the internet. A plan is not truly affordable when part of the bill buys speed that never arrives.

Target 9.1

Reliable infrastructure with affordable, fair access. The networks people rely on should work as promised for everyone who pays for them.
